Family Mediation Gloucester

Living in uncertain times makes the separation and divorce process much scarier. In the end, though, the majority of spouses want the process to be amicable, respectful, and centred on what is best for any children. At this point, I am raising the flag for mediation.

Mediation is a method that empowers and enables families to find their own solutions in a constructive manner, with aim of preserving co-parenting ties.

First, individual sessions designed to:

• Confirm that mediation is appropriate for all parties and investigate any safety issues;
• Comprehend the problems and the couples’ needs regarding the mediator’s facilitation of the sessions; and

Then, the parties attend joint sessions with the mediator, who assists them in:

• Set their own priorities;
• Hear one another’s worries; and
• Think imaginatively about methods to resolve the situation.

The emphasis is on collaborative issue resolution.
